Since our foundation by Fritz Gloor in 1976, we have been supporting research and industrial organisations in Switzerland with innovative technologies and personalised collaboration.


What began as responsibility for the distribution of a radiation measurement product has, over the decades, developed into a specialised provider of solutions for electron microscopes, microscopy and materials analysis systems, spectroscopy, camera systems, software, and manipulation and monitoring tools.

Even after 50 years, we continue to stand for technical expertise, personalised support, reliable service and long-term partnerships.

Our managing director, Harry Brandenberger, volunteers as president of Pro Natura Zurich, a charitable organisation with over 30,000 members. Its work focuses on the protection of near-natural habitats, the promotion of biodiversity, the conservation of valuable landscapes and the responsible management of our environment.

Sport brings people together, builds resilience and fosters inclusion. Through our support for Special Olympics Switzerland, we help people with intellectual disabilities to achieve their sporting goals and play an active part in society.

Support for research in Ukraine

By donating a scanning electron microscope, we are supporting the Karpenko Physico-Mechanical Institute in Lviv in its research, teaching and the promotion of young scientists.

Our business trips are carbon-neutral

As well as our fascination with technology, we are also passionate about nature. To offset the carbon footprint of our service staff’s travel and customer visits, we support several projects run by the climate protection organisation myclimate.

Clean water with "aqua pura"

Our company supports the "aqua pura" project and helps ensure that people in developing countries have access to clean drinking water. We have stopped buying PET mineral water bottles for our team and are donating the money we save to this charitable cause.
