Installation Zeiss SIGMA 360VP

Laboratoire Dubois has been active in the fields of watchmaking, surface treatment and microtechnology since 1977. Established in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the laboratory has established itself as a neutral and independent centre for analysis, testing and expert assessment with an international focus. Proprietary testing methods, specialised test benches and state-of-the-art analytical and metrological systems form the basis for supporting industrial partners – from development and production through to quality control and root cause analysis.

With the commissioning of the new ZEISS SIGMA 360VP electron microscope, Laboratoire Dubois is significantly expanding its analytical capabilities. Among other things, the system enables:

• High-resolution material and surface analyses
• Detailed investigations into production deviations and failures
• Targeted support in product development and industrialisation
• Type-approval tests in accordance with international standards
• Thorough root-cause analyses for complaints and returns
   

With the successful commissioning, the groundwork has now been laid for the upcoming training sessions and the future operational use of the system at Laboratoire Dubois.
