Installation Zeiss SIGMA 360VP AO Foundation
New ZEISS Sigma 360VP with Oxford Instruments UltimMax Infinity at the AO Foundation.
The AO Foundation is a leading global non-profit organisation dedicated to sustainably improving surgical care for trauma and musculoskeletal conditions. A central pillar of this mission is the AO Research Institute Davos (ARI), which drives innovation in orthopaedics through translational research and development.
Key research areas at the ARI:
- musculoskeletal, spinal and craniomaxillofacial trauma
- degenerative disorders of the musculoskeletal system
- infections and congenital malformations
In addition, with over 900 educational events each year, the AO provides a major platform for the global exchange of knowledge and continuing professional development in the healthcare sector.
We are proud to be contributing to the advancement of medical research and patient care through the installation and training on a new ZEISS Sigma 360VP and Oxford Instruments EDX. Many thanks to the team in Davos for their trust and the extremely pleasant collaboration!
A big thank you also goes to our service technician André for his fantastic work in Davos. An installation in the mountains at 1,600 metres above sea level is not an everyday occurrence, and we are proud to now be able to maintain a system right in the heart of the Alps.
