Teletector Probe 6150AD-t

The calibratable Teletector probe 6150AD-t/E is a portable probe which, when used in conjunction with a 6150AD dose rate meter, is used to measure photon radiation (gamma and X-rays) in terms of the physical quantity H*(10). The two Geiger–Müller counter tubes at the end of the telescopic shaft offer a very wide dose rate range. The counter tube for the low-dose-rate range is located behind the window in the front of the counter tube housing and can also detect beta radiation. The 6150AD automatically switches between the two counter tubes. Power is supplied by the 6150AD.

The stainless-steel telescopic tube can be extended continuously to a total length of approximately four metres. This allows for a greater distance from the radiation source, thereby reducing radiation exposure. It also facilitates measurements in hard-to-reach areas. As long as the button above the handle of the Teletector probe is held down, the 6150AD operates using its internal Geiger tube. This allows for a temporary check of radiation levels at the user’s location.

A short integrated probe cable and a detachable carrying strap are included with the Teletector probe, but the 6150AD is not included.
